Flintoff: I Will Not Come Back To Test Cricket

Lancashire all-rounder Andrew Flintoff has claimed that he will not be returning to Test cricket for England.

Flintoff retired from this format of the game after the Ashes last year, following a string of injury problems, Sky Sports News reports.

Asked whether he would ever think of a comeback, he said: "I think if you talk to any player who has retired from Test cricket, they do."

However, he was quick to point out that he will not go back on his decision and is now concentrating on playing his best for his club.

According to 32-year-old, he will also be trying to maintain his form so that he can feature for England in Twenty20 matches.

"I feel when I'm fit and playing well, I get into England's best team," Flintoff added.

England are due to tour Bangladesh, with Bet365(Go to Bet365 ») and Blue Square(Go to Blue Square ») both offering odds of 2/9 that the home side will be defeated.
