IPL Players Will Have No Excuses, Says Dhoni
Mahendra Singh Dhoni understands that winning the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be a double-edged sword for him and his country.His Chennai Super Kings side take on the Deccan Chargers in the second semi-final of the competition, and they are 5/6 with Sportingbet(Go to Sportingbet ») to emerge victorious from the encounter.
But after being asked whether this run will affect India's preparation for the Twenty20 World Cup, he said they have to give it their all.
Dhoni told the Times of India: "We will have very little time to refresh ourselves. As professionals we are always committed to giving our best. There can be no excuse for failure."
