Federer could win French Open 'if conditions are right'

Tennis betting fans should be looking at weather reports to find out how good a chance Roger Federer stands of winning this year's French Open, his former coach has suggested.Tony Roche, who now trains Lleyton Hewitt, claimed that Federer has proven he can play well against arch-rival Rafael Nadal on clay in the past and believes that the weather may have been what has hindered his attempts to take the Roland Garros crown over the last few years."He struggles a little bit in Paris, but I think it's just maybe the conditions need to be in Roger's favour - with the weather and the climate. If that happens, it's possible," he remarked.World number one Nadal has beaten Federer on the way to winning the last four French Opens and is a big favourite to retain his title at the bookmakers this year following his victory in the Australian Open last week.
