Murray breaks into top three

Andy Murray is officially Britain's greatest ever tennis player, in terms of world rankings at least. The Scot has broken into the top three for the first time in his career - overtaking Novak Djokovic, who is now fourth. It means that at the age of 21 Murray has gone one better than both Tim Henman and Greg Rusedski's peaks. And he told the BBC that he now has his sights set on the top two spots, currently occupied by Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer respectively."Rafa and Roger are probably the two best players ever so I'd love to try and break that up," said Murray, although he added that even getting close is a particularly tough task. This week Murray will attempt to retain his Madrid Masters title, but despite his new ranking he is fourth favourite in the online tennis betting market.Extrabet offers odds of 14/1 that he will be victorious - although he is generally priced 10/1 - while Nadal is the 2/7 favourite with Stan James.
