Murray takes Queen's title
Scotland's Andy Murray triumphed 7-5, 6-4 against James Blake in the final of the Aegon Championships at Queen's Club yesterday.The world number three looked comfortable throughout against his American opponent as he achieved a feat last managed by Bunny Austin in 1938.Murray impressed throughout the week at Queen's, winning every set and only dropping his serve on two occasions.His performance led to the bookmakers shortening the odds on him winning the upcoming Grand Slam event at Wimbledon, with Paddy Power (Go to Paddy Power ») making the Scotsman the second favourite at 3/1.French Open champion Roger Federer, who is aiming to win his sixth Wimbledon crown, is the most fancied at evens with Blue Square (Go to Blue Square »), while reigning title holder Rafael Nadal is 7/2 at Ladbrokes (Go to Ladbrokes »).After his Queen's victory in 1938, Austin went on to reach the final at Wimbledon, where he was defeated in straight sets by the great American Don Budge.
