Murray: I have a good chance at US Open
Andy Murray has claimed he is confident he can do well again at the US Open this year. The Scotsman, who lost to reigning champion Roger Federer in 2008's final having beaten then world number one Rafael Nadal in the semis, said he believes he can turn in another strong performance at Flushing Meadows, but is not overlooking this week's Masters event.
"I feel like I've got a good chance of doing well at the US Open, but each week is a different week and I'm not going to get too far ahead of myself," he commented, explaining that his focus for now is on defending the title he won last year in Cincinnati.
Murray is 3/1 at William Hill(Go to William Hill ») to take his first Grand Slam victory in New York next month. Federer, who is aiming for his sixth successive US Open title, is 13/8 at SkyBet to win again, while Nadal is 6/1 at Victor Chandler(Go to VCBet »).
