Tennis Betting - Murray Anticipates Poor Start
Andy Murray has suggested he is not expecting to be at the top of his game when he returns to tennis action at ATP Valencia this week. The Scotsman has not played for more than a month and the Mail on Sunday quoted him as saying that while he has now recovered from his wrist injury, he anticipates that he could be a bit rusty.
"I've played two matches in nine weeks, so I wouldn't be surprised if I play poorly at first, but I will try my best," he remarked.
ATP Valencia precedes the ATP World Tour Finals and Murray is set to take on Daniel Gimeno Traver, a wild card entry, in the first round.
He is priced as a 6/4 favourite to win the Spanish event at Victor Chandler(Go to VCBet ») and is the second most fancied to take victory in London's season finale, with Bet365(Go to Bet365 ») offering odds of 4/1.
