Tennis Betting - Murray Confident Despite Tough Draw
British number one Andy Murray has been handed a tough draw for the group stages of the ATP World Tour Finals. The Scot was drawn in Group A for the end-of-season showpiece event, alongside the world's best player Roger Federer.
The 22-year-old, who is ranked fourth in the world, will also have to take on US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro, as well as Spaniard Fernando Verdcaso in the round-robin event, which begins on Sunday in London.
However, despite the tough draw, Murray is set to go into the tournament full of confidence, having beaten Federer in six of their last nine meetings.
"Obviously I look forward to playing Roger. I've played Juan a few times on the tour recently and also had a close match recently with Verdasco indoors in Valencia," he said.
Murray is down as a 4/1 shot to win the event with Stan James(Go to Stan James »), while Bet365
Bet365(Go to Bet365 ») has him at 7/2 to take the crown in London.
