Clijsters 'impressed' By Henin At Brisbane International
Reigning US Open champion Kim Clijsters has acknowledged Justine Henin's performance in the first round of the Brisbane Open this week as "very impressive".The 26-year-old Belgian said her fellow countrywoman showed no signs of rust as she beat Nadia Petrova 7-5, 7-5 in her comeback match after retirement and indicated she is looking forward to playing her old rival again.
Clijsters and Henin have met three times in Grand Slam finals, with the latter coming out the winner on each occasion.
But it is the former who is the favourite to win the Brisbane International this week, with Coral(Go to Coral ») making her 6/5 to take the title.
Alicia Molik was Clijsters's opponent in the event on Tuesday, but she eased into the quarter-finals with a 6-0, 6-3 victory.
Henin is the second favourite to triumph in the competition at the bookmakers and her chances are priced at 15/8 by Betfred(Go to Betfred »).
