Murray Overcomes Isner's "tough" Serve

World number four Andy Murray has defeated John Isner in straight sets to advance to the quarter-finals of the Australian Open.

Murray will make his first appearance at this stage of the event, having overcome the six foot nine American to win 7-6, 6-3, 6-2.

The Scot admitted that it was difficult to get past Isner's "tough" serve, which he described as the "best &133; I'm really happy with the effort."

The win will now see the British number one face Rafael Nadal, who defeated Ivo Karlovic over four sets.

Betfair(Go to Betfair ») currently considers Murray one of the favourites to win the entire tournament, offering odds of 19/15 that this will happen.

Roger Federer remains the bookies' top choice however, with Blue Square(Go to Blue Square ») and Sportingbet(Go to Sportingbet ») making him available at 9/4.
