Federer Dumped Out Of Indian Wells
Top seed Roger Federer was dumped out of the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells after losing a final set tie-break to Marcos Baghdatis.Baghdatis came back from dropping the first set to triumph 5-7, 7-5, 7-6 (7-4) and he described it as the best win of his career.
"I lost a lot of matches against those top guys and, you know, it's a relief to win a match like that. It's a great moment for me," he told Sky Sports News.
The deciding set saw both players hold their serves to force a tie-break - with Baghdatis able to go on to secure his first-ever win over the Swiss world number one.
His odds of being crowned the champion have now dropped and he is fifth favourite at 16/1 with Stan James(Go to Stan James »).
Meanwhile, British hope Andy Murray won through 6-3, 7-5 against Michael Russell and he is now 233/100 with Betfair(Go to Betfair ») to capture the title.
