Federer 'crashes Out' In Miami
Roger Federer has been dumped out of the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami in the fourth round by Tomas Berdych.The Swiss world number one suffered a shock 6-4, 6-7 (3-7), 7-6 (8-6) defeat to continue a poor run of form that saw him knocked out of his last tournament in the third round.
As a result, Berdych has seen his odds of winning the title cut to 8/1 with Sportingbet(Go to Sportingbet »), while Rafael Nadal has become the 2/1 favourite with Betfred(Go to Betfred »).
Federer, who beat Andy Murray to win the first major of the season in Australia, was at a loss to explain the result.
"My game has issues at the moment. I'm definitely lacking timing. I don't know where that comes from," he said.
Meanwhile, Andy Roddick - 21/5 with Betfair(Go to Betfair ») to win - advanced to the quarterfinals by beating German Benjamin Becker in straight sets, 7-6 (7-4), 6-3.
