Steward not expecting walkover for Banks

Legendary boxing trainer Emmanuel Steward has suggested he is not expecting his charge Jonathon Banks to have it easy when he challenges Tomasz Adamek for the IBF cruiserweight title on Friday (February 24th) night.Banks goes into the contest, which takes place in New Jersey, with an unbeaten record, but Steward told broadcaster Showtime this week he is not anticipating a walk in the park."Anytime you fight a guy like Adamek it's going to be a tough fight," he remarked. "We expect a tough and aggressive fight."Adamek has just one defeat on his record, losing his WBC light-heavyweight crown to Chad Dawson back in 2007.He has since campaigned successfully at cruiserweight, winning the IBF belt in his last fight against Steve Cunningham. In the boxing betting, Adamek is a big favourite to win the fight, with some bookmakers pricing his chances at 1/6. Banks is available from around 4/1.
