Barrera confident ahead of Khan fight
Marco Antonio Barrera has predicted that beating Amir Khan on Saturday night will be an easier task than when he faced Naseem Hamed. The Mexican legend outclassed Hamed when he came up against him in Las Vegas in 2001 and will now take on 22-year-old Khan in Manchester. And despite the fight being billed a 'coming of age' for the youngster, Barrera has insisted that he should be favourite."By the time I was Khan's age I had made six world title defences and beaten some greats. Everybody wants to beat me, but at the end I win," said the 35-year-old, who has held belts at three different weights.Khan is the odds-on favourite for the bout, with punters being offered odds of 4/5 in online boxing markets, while the Mexican is rated at 11/10.Filipino fighter Manny Pacquiao, who faces Ricky Hatton in May, recently told skysports.com that Khan's speed is likely to give him the edge this weekend.
