Haye to fight Klitschko in Germany
A German football ground has been confirmed as the venue for David Haye's fight with Wladimir Klitschko.British boxer Haye is set to challenge the Ukrainian for his IBF and WBO heavyweight titles on June 20th in what is being billed as the 'Knockout in Schalke'.And the bout will take place at Schalke 04's Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, despite the Englishman having originally hoped for a London venue.Commenting on the choice, Klitschko told German newspaper Bild: "The Schalke stadium is a worthy venue and the atmosphere will make both boxers produce their best performance," adding: "This fight will get world-wide attention."Haye, 28, has recorded 21 knockouts in his career and is 9/4 outsider with William Hill. The bookmaker prices the champion, who has stopped 46 opponents by knockout, at 1/3, although punters can get odds of 1/2 with Blue Square.Haye had originally been lined up to take on Wladimir's older brother Vitali for the WBC title, but a mandatory defence ruled that out.
