Khan fight still on
Amir Khan's upcoming fight with Andreas Kotelnik has swapped dates and venues after the Ukrainian suffered a tooth infection leading up to the match. The bout, which is for the WBA light-welterweight championship, was originally scheduled for the O2 Arena in London on June 27th but will now take place at the MEN Arena the following month.Commenting on the delay, the 22-year old said: "I'm delighted that my world title fight against Kotelnik is still on and when July 18th comes I will never be more ready for him, although, the postponement of the fight is a pain."Khan also mentioned that trainer Freddie Roach had altered his training regime to ensure he was at peak performance for the title shot. WBX (Go to WBX ») has the Bolton boxer as the favourite at odds of 18/35. Those looking to bet on the title-holder, who has lost twice in his career, can find him at 11/8 with William Hill (Go to William Hill »).
