Kotelnik: Khan has a weak chin
WBA light-welterweight champion Andreas Kotelnik claimed Amir Khan may have a glass chin ahead of their title bout at Manchester's MEN Arena tomorrow (July 18th). Talking to Sky Sports News, the Ukrainian pointed out weaknesses that he saw in the 22-year-old's style. "He is a good boxer with a good perspective and he's fast but this fight I saw he wasn't very strong and maybe there is something with his chin," Kotelnik stated. While the Bolton boxer's footwork is high-quality and he has speed, the 33-year-old remarked, these are not unique qualities. Khan's only defeat in his professional career is to Breidis Prescott in a September fight last year, which saw him knocked out in the first round. The Olympic silver medallist has also been put to the canvas by Willie Limond and Michael Gomez. Skybet(Go to Skybet ») is currently offering 5/1 odds to anyone that wishes to bet on Kotelnik beating Khan via technical knockout in their WBA light-welterweight match-up on Saturday. Most bookies still consider the younger boxer as the favourite with Extrabet(Go to Extrabet ») providing odds of 4/9.
