Haye: I will knock Valuev out

David Haye has pledged to knock out current WBA heavyweight champion Nikolay Valuev in their November 7th title fight. The outspoken Londoner said that "size doesn't matter" and he will be the first person to KO the seven-footer.He remarked: "David only needed a slingshot and a stone to flatten Goliath, and I'm convinced my right hand generates more power than a stone."Haye also had some choice words for the Klitschko brothers, after calling a possible fight deal offered to him as disrespectful and insulting. Valuev defeated his last opponent, Evander Holyfield, in December 2008 in a majority-decision victory. The Russian has never been dropped and is the tallest and heaviest heavyweight champion of all time. Early betting on the bout has Haye as the favourite, with Boyle Sports(Go to Boyle Sports ») offering odds of 4/9. Those looking to bet on Valuev - who has only lost once in a 52-fight career - can find him at 7/4 with Sportingbet(Go to Sportingbet »).
