Boxing betting - Moore favourite to beat Rhodes

Current European light-middleweight title holder Jamie Moore is the favourite to beat challenger Ryan Rhodes in their October bout.

The winner of the fight could become the mandatory challenge for WBC world title holder Sergio Martinez, Sky Sports News reports.

The athletes boast 51 knockout victories between them, with Salford fighter Moore holding a 32-3 record to Rhodes' 42-4.

Moore is currently ranked second by the WBC, while his opponent is rated seventh.

Other fights on the card include Gary Davies versus Ian Napa for the British bantamweight belt and a match-up for the vacant English super-flyweight title between Stuart McFadyen and Jami McDonnell.
