Boxing Odds - Pac Man Favourite To Beat Cotto

Manny Pacquiao is still the favourite with most bookmakers in his upcoming WBO welterweight title match-up with Miguel Cotto, despite admitting it will be his most difficult fight.

Stan James(Go to Stan James ») currently has Pac Man at 4/9 to win the November 14th bout, but the Filipino pound-for-pound champ has stated that Cotto is an "excellent" competitor.

"This will be my toughest test as a professional boxer," he remarked, adding: "I know he is an excellent, smart fighter and a great world champion."

According to the 30-year-old, he is faster than the Puerto Rican, but it will depend on whether he can implement his speed in the fight.

Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach believes the winner will be the fighter who is best able to impose their game plan on their opponent.

Victor Chandler(Go to VCBet ») currently has current title holder Cotto - who has only lost in his career once before - at 13/8 to retain his belt.
