Boxing Betting News - Froch: Dirrell Has Flaws

Nottingham-born super-middleweight Carl Froch has stated he has spotted ways in which he can beat his WBC title opponent Andre Dirrell on October 17th.

The pair are set to fight at the Trent FM Arena in the opening round of the Super Six World Boxing Classic and 'The Cobra' believes he knows what it takes to knock belt challenger Dirrell to the canvas.

"I've studied him and I think he has a number of flaws that I can exploit," he said, adding: "My record proves I can punch and I just need one opportunity to finish a fight."

A win would take the 32-year-old Brit to 26-0 and would give him his second title defence.

Stan James(Go to Stan James ») currently has Froch as a 1/2 favourite to retain the WBC super-middleweight belt in his hometown.

Those looking to put money on his American opponent can find Dirrell at odds off 11/8 with Boyle Sports(Go to Boyle Sports »).
