Boxing Betting - Haye: Ruiz Is Boring And I Will KO Him
British fighter David Haye has claimed his next opponent John Ruiz is boring to watch and will not be good enough to win the WBA title. Haye landed the belt after outpointing Russian giant Nikolai Valuev on Saturday (November 7th), but the Londoner is confident of a more devastating finish when he fights the 37-year-old Ruiz.
"I don't think Ruiz is the most entertaining," he remarked, adding: "I will be way too fast, I will knock him out."
According to the outspoken Englishman, it was his speed and power that helped him to defeat Valuev, who is the biggest heavyweight champion of all time.
"People don't realise I am very fast, I have powerful punches," he continued.
The former cruiserweight also outlined his intentions to fight Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko, who hold the WBO, IBF and WBC titles between them.
William Hill(Go to William Hill ») currently has Haye as a 8/15 favourite to beat Ruiz, while Klitschko is set to fight Kevin Johnson next month, with the Ukrainian pugilist available at odds of 1/16 with Stan James(Go to Stan James »).
