Mayweather And Mosley Scuffle At Press Conference
Floyd Mayweather and Shane Mosley nearly pre-empted their May 1st fight two months early after they scuffled at a recent pre-fight press conference to advertise their bout. The two - who have been reported to share a mutual dislike for each other - squared off at a publicity tour in New York and started jostling, which led the pair's entourages to rush on stage and pull apart the boxers.
"Our noses touched," Mayweather said of the incident. "I don't mind the trash talking but he grabbed my hands I don't like nothing but the ladies."
According to the pound-for-pound legend, he pushed Mosley away and told him not to touch him.
Both fighters will meet each other in the ring in Las Vegas in a contest that has been heavily promoted since the superfight between Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao failed to go ahead.
Mayweather is considered the favourite with most bookmakers, including Bet365(Go to Bet365 ») and Skybet(Go to Skybet ») who have the 33-year-old at odds of 1/3.
