Jamie Arthur is putting in more work than ever before as he chases the British featherweight title. The Welsh boxer will fight current champion Martin Lindsay on Friday (March 19th) at the Leigh Indoor Sports Arena, with the holder 1/7 with Betfred(Go to Betfred ») and Boyle Sports(Go to Boyle Sports ») to retain his belt.
Arthur has won all seven of his fights since coming out of retirement and the former Commonwealth gold medallist insists he will be ready.
"It's a tough regime but I feel superb and I need to be in the shape of my life to take on Lindsay," he told the South Wales Argus.
Victory is all that is on his mind, with Arthur admitting that he is solely focused on winning the contest.
Stan James(Go to Stan James ») have the shortest odds of the Welshman succeeding, offering 7/2.
But he facers a tough task against an undefeated Lindsay, with the Belfast man winning all 15 of his bouts - six coming by knockout.
