Sprott 'eager To Beat Harrison Again'

Micheal Sprott has upped his war of words with Audley Harrison ahead of their European heavyweight title fight.

Sprott knocked him out inside three rounds when they last meet in 2007 and he said: "I'm going to make sure he will lose".

Harrison is the favourite with the bookies and Betfred(Go to Betfred ») are offering odds of 4/7 on him to win the contest, while his opponent is 7/4 with William Hill(Go to William Hill »).

The former Olympic Gold Medallist retorted by adding: "I'm going to go through Michael Sprott like a steam train."

He remarked that he has to win this encounter if he wants to realise his dream of being a world heavyweight champion and he is "focused, hungry [and] dedicated".

And Harrison has suggested that he may retire if he is not successful.

The fight between the two British boxers comes only a week after David Haye successfully defending his belt against John Ruiz at the MEN Arena in Manchester.
