Woods claims to be fully fit for return
Tiger Woods has claimed he is in the best shape of his life as he prepares to make his eagerly anticipated return to the golf circuit this week.The world number one, who spent much of 2008 on the sidelines through injury, is to compete this week in Arizona's WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship and suggested his opponents should expect the reigning champion to be at his fittest."I didn't think it would feel this good," he told the press regarding his knee, which required reconstructive surgery in 2008.He added that he felt "solid and secure" and in great health.Since he made the statements, the odds on Woods retaining his match play crown have shortened marginally in the golf betting, with the vast majority pricing his chances at 5/1 or lower.Phil Mickelson remains his chief rival in the opinion of the bookmakers and is available at about 16/1.
