Woods favoured to win comeback tournament
Tiger Woods is the big favourite in the golf betting ahead of his return from injury on Wednesday (February 25th).The world number one is 5/1 to win the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona at the majority of major bookmakers, ahead of 16/1 Phil Mickelson and 16/1 Sergio Garcia.Woods won the competition in 2008 and has been crowned champion on two other occasions, taking victory in 2003 and 2004.He has been drawn against Brendan Jones in the opening match as he makes his long-awaited return after spending most of last season on the sidelines.Geoff Ogilvy, the 2006 titlist, is the sixth favourite at 25/1 and tees off against 2002 victor Kevin Sutherland (125/1).Henrik Stenson (20/1) and Steve Stricker (50/1) - the 2007 and 2001 winners respectively - are the two other returning champions.Stenson faces Davis Love III (50/1) and Stricker tackles Dustin Johnson (66/1).
