Donald hopeful of Honda Classic involvement
Luke Donald may be fit to take part in next week's Honda Classic tournament. The Englishman had feared that a wrist problem could have ruled him out of the contest, but he has since received a positive assessment of the injury.Specialists have told the 31-year-old that the discomfort he felt during a WGC-Accenture match against Ernie Els is not related to previous surgery conducted on the joint.Donald said he was "disappointed" that he retired from the third-round tie with Els but added that he is "obviously very pleased" with the optimistic diagnosis of the problem. He stated that he would "love to be able to play in the Honda Classic".Punters can get odds of 25/1 on Donald winning the Honda Classic outright - a feat he achieved in 2006 - although Sergio Garcia is favourite to take the title this year at 12/1.Els is also a popular choice to be victorious in south Florida, with odds of 29/2 available.
