Dream 'has come true' for McIlroy

Northern Irish golfer Rory McIlroy has revealed that one of his dreams has "finally come true" as he prepares to make his US Masters debut in Augusta.The 19-year-old broke into the top 20 with a Dubai Desert Classic win earlier this year and is one of three teenagers set to compete this week.And he revealed that he was motivated at a young age by tournament favourite Tiger Woods' performance in 1997, when the American won the first of his Masters titles."It was definitely inspirational to see someone come out and make such a great start to their professional career," said McIlroy, adding: "That's what I've always wanted to do."He is currently rated at 25/1 by Skybet, while punters can get odds of 33/1 with Victor Chandler.Woods is priced around 2/1 in the online gold betting market, with Phil Mickelson rated at 8/1 and Padraig Harrington given odds of 16/1 to claim his third consecutive major.
