Woods 'making progress' after surgery

Tiger Woods has revealed that he is gradually returning to fitness after recovering from knee surgery.The world number one was out of action for eight months, but has played four strokeplay events since returning in February.He finished a disappointing fourth at the Quail Hollow Championship last week, but explained that it was the first time in a year and a half that he has been able to practice after a round."It makes things more difficult to get ready for the next day," said Woods, adding: "But now I'll start doing that and start to rectify some of the wrongs for that day."The American is taking part in the Players Championship at Sawgrass this week, for which he is 4/1 favourite with Bet365 .However, he has not finished inside the top ten at the tournament since winning it in 2001.Phil Mickelson is second favourite and is given odds of 10/1 in the online golf betting market, with Quail Hollow Championship winner Sean O'Hair priced 28/1 by Skybet.
