Woods 'feeling good' ahead of US Open
Tiger Woods has said he is in good shape as he prepares to defend his US Open title at Bethpage Black this week. The world number one took victory in the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield earlier this month and suggested the result has given him a lift.He commented: "To get a win always adds to the confidence and no matter how you win
especially going into a US Open, it always makes you feel pretty good."Woods is aiming to pick up his fourth US Open crown and his 15th Major on Sunday, which would move him one step closer to the record of 18 held by Jack Nicklaus. And Coral (Go to Coral ») makes him favourite to win the title for the second year in succession at odds of 15/8.Geoff Ogilvy is the second most fancied at 16/1 with Stan James (Go to Stan James »), while Sky Bet offers 18/1 on Phil Mickelson.
