Monty: I'm not too old for more wins

Colin Montgomerie has said he is confident he still has the tools to win major tournaments in the lead up to the Scottish Open, which starts today. Having turned 46 earlier this month, Montgomerie has fallen to 200th in the world and is without a top ten finish for more than a year. Despite this, the Scot believes he still has the drive to be a force in the game and said he "still feel[s] capable of winning". "There have been people who have won on this Tour that have been older than me. I still think that there are a few wins in there somewhere" he remarked. Montgomerie also confirmed that if he did not believe in his abilities then he would never be able to pull off a victory again. Ian Poulter is currently the favourite to win the Scottish Open at Loch Lomond and odds of 16/1 are available with Ladbrokes (Go to Ladbrokes »). Those looking to bet on Montgomerie can find him at 100/1 with Betfred (Go to Betfred »).
