Harrington: I'm running out of time
Golfer Padraig Harrington has admitted that time is short if he is going to recover his form in time for the British Open. Harrington has not had a top-ten finish since January and is currently 195th out of 212 for driving accuracy this season. Commenting on his form, the Irishman said: "I still believe I'm going to be ready. But, then again, I thought I'd be ready for the US Open."Finding a club that hits the ball "straight and long" is still one of his main aims, he added. Despite winning two majors back-to-back last season, the Dubliner has switched his swing and he confirmed that his backswing was "totally off" at the US Open.Making sure he improves his form over the next few weeks is important for raising confidence levels, he remarked. The French Open began today and Harrington is available at 22/1 with Paddy Power (Go to Paddy Power ») to win the tournament. Soren Hansen is currently the favourite and can be bought at 15/1 with Betfair (Go to Betfair »).
