Harrington: I will bounce back

Padraig Harrington has revealed his performance at the British Open last weekend should help him in the upcoming USPGA Championship next month. Despite finishing on 12 over par and relinquishing his Open major crown, the Irishman believes the experience has left him more prepared. He said: "I have felt a little bit behind the eight ball all week but possibly this week could help me as far as the PGA is concerned."Harrington commented that while he was pleased with his ball striking, it was important that he improved on "the mental side of the game". The Dubliner is the current holder of the USPGA title, but has suffered a recent stretch of poor form after choosing to make changes to his swing. Those looking to bet on the August event will find Tiger Woods is presently the favourite with Betfair(Go to Betfair »). He is offered at 29/10, despite failing to make the cut at the Open. Harrington is available at 45/1 with WBX(Go to WBX »).
