Golf Betting - Westwood: I Want To Clinch Race To Dubai

Englishman Lee Westwood has revealed his wish to come first in the Race to Dubai and believes he is in the best position to come away with a win.

According to Westwood, the season-long tournament - which was formerly known as the Order of Merit - is what "everyone wants".

The world number four is currently ahead of rivals Rory McIlroy and German Martin Kaymer, but admitted this week's UBS Hong Kong Open is important for retaining that advantage.

He remarked: "It would be nice to have a lead going into the last event because it means that if I win the event (in Dubai) I will win the money list."

If Westwood is successful it will mark the first time he has captured the title since landing the Order of Merit in 2000.

Bookmakers are currently finding it difficult to predict the victor of the UBS Hong Kong Open, with Extrabet(Go to Extrabet ») offering odds of 8/1 for both Westwood and McIlroy.

Ian Poulter is available at Boyle Sports(Go to Boyle Sports ») at 18/1.
