Kjeldsen Added To European Golf Line-up For Royal Trophy
Soren Kjeldsen is the last player to be selected for the upcoming Royal Trophy tournament. Part of the European team, the Dane is joined by Robert Karlsson, Simon Dyson and Henrik Stenson.
Picked by Seve Ballesteros and Colin Montgomerie, the team is rounded up with Alexander Noren, Peter Hanson and Pablo Martin for the event, which will take place next month.
Event founder and chairman Ballesteros was complimentary of Kjeldsen's abilities, saying that he is "very talented and consistent".
"I have also been impressed by the way he has performed at the highest level this year, contending in majors and World Golf Championship events," he added.
Commenting on his inclusion in the team, Kjeldsen noted that it is a "great honour", stating that Ballesteros and Montgomerie had chosen a "powerful-looking" squad.
