Green: I Feed Off Great Players
Australian Nathan Green has complimented the quality of his fellow professionals at the Honda Classic by stating it is their skill that inspires him to perform better. Green is currently one of the favourites for the tournament after carding five-under rounds of 65, with 888Sport(Go to 888sport ») offering odds of 16/1 that he will take the title.
Commenting on his performance at the tournament, which is taking place at Palm Beach Gardens in Florida, he said the talents of his fellow golfers are a boost.
"You definitely feed off them a little bit I think, just how calm they keep themselves," the 34-year-old remarked.
He added: "You don't like embarrassing yourself in front of a crowd."
Currently tied for first place in the event, Green shares the top spot with Michael Connell, who is less favoured at 50/1 with Skybet(Go to Skybet »).
Betdaq(Go to Betdaq ») has Camilo Villegas as the golfer most likely to triumph and is offering odds of 63/10 that this will occur.
