Ernie Els Looking To Win Ballantines Championship

Ernie Els is confident that he can recapture the form that saw him win two events in a row earlier this year.

The South African finished 18th at the Masters and cited fatigue as a factor in his recent poor run.

Els is 8/1 with Betfair(Go to Betfair ») to win the Ballantines Championship in Jeju, an island off the coast of Korea.

The favourite for the event is Anthony Kim, who is 5/1 with WBX(Go to WBX ») and the American will be looking to build on a good showing at the last major, when he finished third after a fantastic last round.

According to Els, he may have played slightly too much golf before the Masters, but added: "I've had a pretty good start to the season. The win in Miami was big for me as it got a lot of confidence back."

He remarked that he intends to have a slightly more relaxed schedule before the next major of the year, which is the US Open.
