Premier League Darts Final Betting
Phil Taylor aims to retain his Premier League crown at Wembley Arena tonight where he takes on world champion Adrian Lewis in the semi-finals.
The winner of that match will then go on to face either Gary Anderson or Raymond van Barneveld in the final as the pair meet in the night’s second semi-final.
Taylor is looking to win his sixth Premier League title in the event’s short seven-year history. If he can show the same level of form that he did in last year’s final, when he hit two nine-darters on his way to beating James Wade 10-8, then few would bet against him retaining his crown.
Bookmaker 888Sport (Go to 888sport ») have The Power at short odds of 4/11 to retain his title. Having only secured his semi-final spot on the final night of the group stages world champion Adrian Lewis is the outsider of the quartet at odds of 12/1.
Despite finishing second in the group stages Barney is an 11/1 chance, more than double the odds of Anderson who is 9/2. This is largely due to the fact that the Scot is seen as more likely to be able to defeat Taylor, should the pair meet in the final.
It looks a foregone conclusion that Taylor will lift the title, but when on top of their game any one of the other three players are capable of beating the world number one. It is just a case of getting things right on the night.
