European Grand Prix Betting Odds

Sebastian Vettel is the betting favourite to return to winning ways at the European Grand Prix in Valencia this weekend.

Vettel was overtaken in the final lap of a dramatic Canadian Grand Prix a fortnight ago as Jenson Button came from behind to claim, in the words of McLaren CEO Martin Whitmarsh, "one of the all-time great grand prix wins".

Vettel now holds a 60 point lead at the top of the Formula 1 drivers’ championship having won five of the opening seven races and never finished outside of the top two in any race this season.

Bookmaker Betfred go 5/4 that he returns to the middle of the podium this Sunday. Lewis Hamilton is the 7/2 second-favourite and Jenson Button is 7/1 to make it back-to-back wins.

The world championship leader is 8/13 to take pole position on the grid with teammate Mark Webber at 5/1 along with Lewis Hamilton.
