Premier League Snooker Betting: Week 3
This week’s Premier League snooker mini-tournament sees John Higgins play Neil Robertson in the first semi-final then Ding Junhui take on Shaun Murphy in the second.
Murphy won the recent Brazil Masters by beating Graeme Dott 5-0 in the final while Higgins, Robertson and Ding all opted not to participate in the non-ranking event.
The 2005 World Champion snapped up the opportunity to play in South America but it remains to be seen whether the air miles clocked will have an adverse effect on his Premier League campaign.
“It's a great opportunity we've been given, to go around the world playing the game we love,” said Murphy.
“I'll have very fond memories of Brazil and I would love to see this become a regular event. The people are very enthusiastic here, they have enjoyed it and I think this is a market that can be expanded.”
Murphy is the 3/1 third-favourite to win week 3 of the Premier League with William Hill (Go to William Hill ») . Higgins is the 7/4 favourite, Ding is 11/4 second-favourite and Robertson, who tends not to enjoy the shot-clock format, is the 16/5 outsider.
