Somerset v South Australia Twenty20 Betting

Somerset resume their Twenty20 Champions League campaign this Saturday morning with a match against Michael Klinger’s South Australia.

England duo Craig Kieswetter and Jos Buttler have joined up with the Somerset squad following the two-match Twenty20 series against the West Indies. Despite three wins out of three for the Sabres without the duo they are expected to go straight into the team.

Somerset beat Auckland only hours after arriving in India and followed that up with victory over the Kolkata Knight Riders days later to book their position in the competition proper.

Coach Andy Hurry believes that their hurried schedule has benefited the team.

“The fact that we didn't have much time to get ourselves prepared has actually been a huge bonus for us,” said Hurry.

“We haven't had time to dwell - we've just had to go out and play. This is a very special tournament, and the way you're treated over here makes you value every game.  We're playing at big grounds in front of very enthusiastic spectators against some very big players.  It's a huge motivating factor for us.”

Somerset began the group stages with another win over KKR and are priced at odds of 10/11 by Betfred (Go to Betfred ») to make it two wins from two this Saturday.

Kieswetter is 3/1 to step straight into the side and be the team’s top run scorer with Buttler priced at 11/2 to do the same. Calum Ferguson blasted South Australia to victory over KKR with an unbeaten 70 and is 7/2 to top score again here.
