India v England Twenty20 Betting
England have one last chance to restore some pride to their dismal limited overs tour of India when the two sides meet for a single Twenty20 match this Saturday at Eden Gardens.
Kevin Pietersen is a major doubt for England, who were recently announced as the number one ranked Twenty20 team in world cricket, while Alastair Cook has returned home following the ODI series but remains upbeat about English cricket as a whole.
“You go back to January, winning the Ashes, and then having such a good summer,” said Cook.
“This is obviously a blip, a disappointing end to what has been a really good year.
“But in the bigger picture, we've blooded a lot of inexperienced players. There are some positives to take, and this England side will work our socks off to try to improve - which is all we can do.”
Bookmaker Blue Square (Go to Blue Square ») have England as the 6/4 outsiders to win this weekend’s T20 fixture, with India available to back at 8/15 to complete the demolition.
Craig Kieswetter top scored for England in the fifth ODI and is 10/3 to do so again here. India’s strength is in their depth and they have Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahanae and Robin Uthappa all available to back at odds of 4/1 in the top runs scorer market.
