Murray seeks fourth straight title
Andy Murray lines up in Basle for the Swiss Indoors this week seeking his fourth consecutive title.
The Scotsman took a wildcard entry for the tournament and will feature alongside world number one Novak Djokovic and world number four Roger Federer.
Murray will begin an opening round math against Robin Hasse, whom he is priced at odds of just 1/12 to beat.
Murray recently moved up to number three in the world after winning titles in Bangkok, Tokyo and Shanghai. A run of victories that means he is currently on a 15-match winning streak and, having won the Cincinnati Masters in August, he has only lost once in his last 26 matches.
Boyle Sports (Go to Boyle Sports ») have Murray as the 7/2 joint-second favourite in their betting for this week’s event. Federer is also priced at odds of 7/2 while Djokovic, who is returning from injury, is the 13/10 favourite.
“The injury is never welcome... but it came in the right moment, let's say,” said Djokovic. “It gave me a little more time to rest and recover. I think it was the longest (break) I had in the last four or five years.”
