Tendulkar seeks milestone

Sachin Tendulkar’s 76 second innings runs helped guide his team to victory over West Indies and past one milestone, but not the one he craves most.

On Tuesday he became the first player to score 15,000 Test runs, but the remains marooned on 99 centuries after being dismissed lbw by Devendra Bishoo. The Little Master will resume his quest for that elusive century of centuries when the nations reconvene in Kolkata this Monday.

With the second Test being played at Eden Gardens bookies are expecting a flurry of bets on Tendulkar scoring a century in the match.

India are made the strong 1/2 favourites for the win that would seal the series with the tourists priced at 8/1 and the draw 9/4.
