Little Mix backed for X Factor triumph

Girl band Little Mix are now the Even money favourites with bookmaker Stan James after booking their place in the X Factor final along with Marcus Collins and Amelia Lilly.

The three remaining acts will perform live at Wembley Arena for next week’s final and it is Tulisa’s girls that punters believe will come out on top and in doing so become the first band to win the X Factor.

The girls were not voted in the bottom two at any point throughout the series, a feat that only Marcus has also managed to achieve this year.

The judges, however, were not so complimentary about one of the girls’ performances. The Supremes hit You Keep Me Hangin’ On was met by some criticism by the panel.

“There was something missing on that performance. It's like you've lost your mojo. I was totally unimpressed girls,” said Louis Walsh.

Kelly agreed stating that she thought the band “would have brought a little more as it’s the semi finals.” And Gary also commented “Perrie is the best singer in this band and I think she should feature a lot more than she is and that is what was missing in tonight's performance.”

Amelia Lilly is Stan James (Go to Stan James ») 2/1 second favourite, with Marcus now slipping to third in the betting at odds of 5/2. Perhaps surprisingly though, Amelia and Marcus cannot be separated in the next elimination betting with both at odds of 11/8 to finish third.
