Madsen backed for BB eviction

Bookmaker Ladbrokes have reported a spate of bets on actor Michael Madsen to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house this Friday evening and have consequently cut his odds for eviction from 10/1 to 8/1.

Madsen’s mood swings and running battle with fellow housemate Denise Welch saw the Reservoir Dogs star nominated for the boot by his fellow housemates.

He is, however, up against all bar one – Gareth Thomas – of the other housemates after a nomination process that required housemates to reveal their nominations to one another. Nicola McLean is made the Ladbrokes (Go to Ladbrokes ») odds-on 5/6 favourite to go.

“It looks like Nicola's got more lives than a cat if she escapes eviction tonight. Madsen's days in the house look numbered if he continues his daily arguments,” said Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes. 

Gareth remains the bookies’ favourite to win the show, and can be backed to do so at odds of 9/4. But there has been a lot of support for Frankie in recent days and the former X Factor contestant is now a 3/1 chance.

“Frankie is being heavily backed by punters and his odds are collapsing by the day,” added Bridge.

The show is set to conclude on Friday 27 January.
