Woods favourite at Pebble Beach
Tiger Woods is made the 4/1 betting favourite by Ladbrokes for victory at this week’s AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
The 14-time Major winner looked to be edging back to his best when finishing tied for third at the recent Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship and is strongly fancied to make a winning start to his PGA Tour season.
“It looks like Woods will lap up the competition this week. Mickelson's been poor of late and he'll need to step up his game for his first duel with Tiger this year,” said Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes.
Ladbrokes (Go to Ladbrokes ») are also offering to refund losing tournament winner bets if your player is leading at the end of the 3rd round but fails to come home in front. The offer comes after Kyle Stanley and Spencer Levein each capitulated in the fourth round when holding commanding leads on the US Tour in recent weeks.
Phil Mickelson is the 16/1 second-favourite in the betting with Ladbrokes, followed by Nick Watney and Dustin Johnson each at odds of 20/1 then Hunter Mahan, Rickie Fowler and Bryce Molder all at odds of 25/1.
