Ladbrokes BRITS betting specials

The Brit Awards take place this Tuesday evening and if history is anything to go by then there are sure to be one or two incidents. Ladbrokes have released a series of betting specials relating to the awards and to what goes on away from the backslapping.

The bookmaker are offering odds of 8/1 that Rihanna misses her performance at the Brits, and 33/1 that she doesn’t turn up at the Earls Court venue at all. However, she is a heavy odds-on 1/6 to win the Best International Female Artist award on the night.

Adele is expected to emulate her success at the Grammys and is a strong favourite to win both the British Female Artist (1/8) and Best Album (1/12) awards. She is also a 1/2 chance to cry during her acceptance speech.

Some more obscure markets include the 10/1 that Ladbrokes offer on anyone doing a ‘Robbie and Liam’ and challenging each other to a fight on stage, while it is 8/1 that presenter James Corden has an argument on stage with any artist.

“There are nailed on favourites in every category. It looks like Adele will dominate another ceremony and take the bookies for a ride once again,” said Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes (Go to Ladbrokes ») .

“Rihanna's known to like a party and who knows what could happen after a glass or two of bubbly.”
