Mancini Prioritising Carling Cup Semi-final
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has indicated he is not looking past his side's Carling Cup semi-final first leg clash against Manchester United on Wednesday.
The Italian, who has had a winning start to his time in charge of the club, was quoted by BBC Sport as saying that the game is his main focus at the moment, not the January transfer window, during which he is expected to make a number of high-profile signings.
"We can talk about other things after the derby - at the moment the most important thing is our match against Manchester United," he remarked.
City are 6/4 at Victor Chandler (Go to VCBet ») to win the first match of the tie at the City of Manchester Stadium, while their local rivals are available at 2/1.
Boyle Sports (Go to Boyle Sports ») prices a draw at 23/10, while it also makes it 8/13 that United will qualify for the final over the course of the two legs.
